how do i track something i bought as a guest?

I recently bought an item as a guest as it said i could register afterwards. Once the sale was complete it didnt give me the option to register so i went and manually did it however, i have no trace of the purchase that i made and there for are unalble to track it etc. I have used the same email account for the purchase and the new registration but the link hasnt been made. 

A confirmation email has been sent to my email address but that is all i have.

Are you sure the item is being sent with tracking?

Can you post the item number here so someone can have a look for you.

Do you mean you bought as a guest through ebay or you paid as a guest with Paypal? If the latter and you open a Paypal account using the same email address then the item will show up in your new account and you can view the details and open a dispute if needed. Not all sellers use or supply tracking numbers so not having one is not a reason for concern. Irf the former and you already have a Paypal account the details will all be there.

Not entirely sure its tracked but I have no record of it apart from the initial email confirming that I placed an order.  Have nothing in my ebay account to say I even placed an order.

Ordered as a guest via ebay. Paypal account was already setup. I only used the guest option on ebay as it said I could sign up afterwards.

If you did not purchase through your ebay account then it will not show in your ebay account.

It is only the paypal account that will show a guest payment if you have used the same details.
