As a fellow buyer on ebay, I believe the ebay delivery dates are one of the best things since sliced bread. ๐
Yes, ebay sets the date range but sellers can tweak them to a degree, depending on their handling time.
So I don't care if a seller is in China or on the moon, if their listing has a delivery date, i expect them to keep to it, or close to it.
I will allow for a few days over but I always keep in mind that there is only 30 days in which to open a claim with ebay.
So if an item is over the delivery date range and after a few extra days have passed, I would always open an ebay dispute claim.
When you see the delivery date range on an ad, never assume it will get to you by the earliest date either. It may. Just about all my items arrive within the specified period. But look at that last date and realise it may even run a few days over. If that is cutting it too fine, it is probably best to move onto another seller.

I have good stats because I provide good advice. No sugar coating, no 'sorry about your loss, what could you do?', no touchy-feely stuff.
Facts.

I don't do funerals. If i do, I don't do eulogies.
My father would have been a eulogy. I wasn't able to attend the funeral...
