Is it from the seller in China you've left negative feedback ?
If you don't receive your item, make a claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee

The estimated delivery date is just that
Was the 20th the first date or the last date?
A guess inserted by eBay
If you really need something, /something is important/need it to arrive at all, then best to avoid buying from dodgy sellers registered in China
All you can do is either hope it arrives 'shortly after' the guess date is open and follow through with an item not received dispute
And don't let the seller trick you with excuses or promises or tricks

So you negged the Chinese seller with a questionable feedback percentage over an ESTIMATED ETA.....
Edit. Snap Sandy.

And no matter who the seller is, this is eBay, not TEMU so please don't compare.
Do you have a tracking number ?

Sure, they'll open a claim and have to wait 10 days. will take them 1/1/2025. If the seller asks for extension to resolve the issue on the 29/01 he'll get extension to the 8th. Then, he may have a refund under MBG.

That's certainly not the way it worked for me on my last 2 claims under the MBG.
The last one eBay refunded me within half an hour of opening the dispute.
And the one before that eBay waited 3 days for the seller to respond and when they didn't eBay refunded almost immediately.

He's quoted my post because I asked him not to post his 'personal issues' in the 'scammer' thread

"Smart" sellers do respond. And every time they respond they get extension. That what happen on my 2last 2 claims. One took 35 days after ETA for refund and one is still open 25 days after ETA.

I quoted you because while you advise was correct I wanted to set the expectations right.
