if I pay for an item & it doesn't arrive intime can I get a refund? Im in W.A & seller is QLD

If I pay for an item, get express post & if the item doesnt get here intime can I still get refund even if it states No Refund? Due to time difference Im wanting to get the process done ASAP? Many Thanks

I don't think so as the seller isn't responsible for aust post delivery times unless they didn't post when they say they did maybe. try asking the seller maybe?

Why would you expect the seller to refund you, it seems that your problem might be with Australia Post.

if your item has arrived within 45 days then you can not open a dispute. You may however leave appropriate feedback if you paid for express post and it took over 14 days to arrive, well thats what i would do.

In the majority of circumstances, no.

There may be an exception if the seller made explicit guarantees about delivery dates.

Requesting express post is absolutely irrelevant in relation to you asking for a refund for item not received.

You have 45 days from date of payment to lodge an Item Not Received dispute with PayPal ( that is if you paid with PayPal, otherwise its goodnight Irene with your money haha )

Express post is no promise of when the seller will post your item. That is determined by their handling times listed in their policy/listing.

Express Post is merely the method of posting that you have both agreed to use,

Unless it was a specific term of the listing and not an estimated time of arrival, no you are not entitled tio a refund. The seller cannot control how Australia post does their job.

It's a pretty common thing to acceopt if you need something in a hurry, then buy it from a B&M and not online

even if you were to open up an INR the day you paid, the earliest that you would be considered for a refund is 10 days after raising the claim.

PayPal will give the seller 10 days to provide tracking and proof of postage. If the seller does this, your refund will not be granted. If the seller does not respond, PayPal will close the case shortly after the 10 days expires.

If you are not both in the express zone, then it might not be much quicker than standard post, anyway. Which could easily be a week and a half. Most mail goes by road, and express IS supposed to go by air, but who knows.
