I have had a seller tell me the item is now with Vehicle Purchase Proctetion program and that I should put the money into a barclay bank account and email the recipt to ebay who will then email the seller the money is there and then he will transport the item to me  then i have 5 days to look at it to see if i like it or not if not i can send it back, I was just wondering if maybe this a scam The email says that the money will go into a ebay motors representative bank account to be given to the seller once i agreed. I am worried can someone help i have send the email to the spoof centre to confirm if it is true or not.

Blatant scam.Ignore any further correspondence from them.

There is no such thing as putting money in a bank & emailing receipt to ebay.

ebay nor paypal hold money for the seller till the buyer says it is ok.

DON'T have any further contact with them and it would be best if you change all your internet passwords, etc. if you have been emailing with this scammer.

the are Farming Information,  they get your email / ebay ID / real name, address, phone number, which bank you are with etc.etcetc..... that information is then made up into listis and  sold around the world thru Eastern Europe, Africa, Sth America to like scammers, and used to trick you into clicking links in emails etc.

be very careful with your private information.
