items from nov (25-27th) not received… should I make a claim?

Hi all,

I am a bit worried as about a month ago I ordered items from two different sellers. One is in the UK and one is in Sydney. I have contacted both as the items havent arrived. I have even visited the post office several times (I have a post office box with email notifications as I buy online quite often.)

Both sellers have been quite spotty with replies to my messages, the sydney one has not replied two my last two messages asking for a tracking number after they said they would give me one (sent one message last week and one this monring).

Both Sellers have 100% feedback.

Now, I have been using ebay for 10 years and have never made a claim, but now I am worried I will have to make two at once! Will that look dodgy? I'm not sure what else to do... I spent around $200 in both transactions so I don't really want to let it go and hope these things turn up eventually (I would do this for small stuff usually).

So, I guess my questions are:

1. can anyone think of why two things I bought around the same time havent showed up?(I have bought other small things since that *have* shown up) Were there any big delays this month postage in general?

2. Should I make claims? will paypal think I am a scammer if I make claims on two things at once?

Of course Paypal won't think you are a scammer if you open two disputes at once.

I would open a dispute for the domestic parcel straight away, you can give it at least a week before you escalate to a claim.

For the UK parcel I would wait until the 40 days after payment mark as postage can be extremely slow from the UK, again you can always give it another week or two before escalating.

As long as you open disputes within 45 days and escalate within another 20 you won't lose out.

I don't waste my time communicating with sellers, they get one request for a tracking number and if they do not provide a valid one within 48 hours I open the dispute.
