I wonder how you could be NARU and post on the forum? I thought you'd need to have an active account so you can login. Unless they were NARU'd shortly after posting the message. The plot thickens.

Accounts shown as NARU can usually still log in, they just can't buy, sell or leave feedback (members can still access account activity / history, and pay fees where applicable).

Ahhh, OK, thanks for that. I suppose the OP will need to open a new account if they want to buy something (or can eBay un NARU them?)

It depends on why the account was deregistered, really, somtimes it's temporary (like for the non-payment of fees, in that case once they're paid the account will usually be reinstated), and if the user closed their account, there's a limited timeframe in which they can cancel the request and keep the account open (I'm not sure when the account shows as NARU if the member requests to close it, but it's probably not until that timeframe is up, which would mean having to open a new account in that case).
