Why on earth have you left it so long?

There is definitely nothing you can do now, not even a chargeback if your Paypal was funded by a credit card.

Why didn't you open an item not received dispute and escalate to a claim before the 45 day period was up?

You have definitely lost your money. A hard lesson to learn.

in answer to your reply, I did try to contact ebay of the bilge pump not arriving ,about March 2014, I found your com very confusing to follow, I then complained to Pay Pal, they told me to deal with the seller, I sent the seller a email but no reply, most sellers that I get parcles from I conferm when its arrived and of the condition of the article on arrival.ebay also sent me a 5star rating to fill in about to weeks ago I found that prom confusing to, after some time I though I had competed the ratings, however I received the same request this week so it looks like I wasted my time, ebay has to improve on the area, thanking you Don W.

I can assure you that after 5 months the answer would have been much the same as it is now....nothing you can do through ebay or paypal after 45 days unless you funded the paypal payment with a credit card or Visa debit card.

If you allow an item to go over 45 days without opening a dispute it is entirely up to luck as to whether it does arrive or you lose your money.
