Just wondering ...I am watching a item of clothing iv always wanted ,its a new seller in Romania with 4 feedback.Its USD$83.It offers free post to Australia yet it seems to not be listed  on Ebay UK which I find a bit odd as cost would be less to them ...

Would paypal cover me if it didnt arrive for whatever reason im worried Romania may not be great you dont hear good things

I can't see why not, but just be mindful of the 45-day cutoff for Paypal claims if it doesn't arrive.

If they have proof of postage and it gets lost in transit you wont. If they cant prove they sent it to you paypal will cover you.

Does listing state ships worldwide or does it list countries. It wont show in countries not listed.

Whether or not Seller Protection applies is dependent upon the specific site on which the item was listed, but unless the seller can show Paypal physical proof of delivery, the buyer's protection won't be compromised.

Thanks..says worldwide for post . I may message them about post as its "economy international  post"  and I was wondering about how long it would take myself.

The listing should give you an approximate estimated delivery date, but in my experience, goods from eastern europe generally take 14-21 days via economy post, but I wouldn't start worrying until 30 days had elapsed, and you have 45 days in which you can lodge a Paypal claim if necessary.

I would try to have it sent by registered mail then if it hasnt arrived then you have proof.

well hopefully will all be good,made offer of USD 60 and was accepted.Sent last Mon and got tracked  as sugested here .It is showing on Romanian post site so im thinking should all be ok

Its a silly thing but 23 years ago as teen I desperatly wanted an sequined and beaded elephant waistcoat that was all the fashion briefly but too expensive

Hopefully now I will have the nicest one I have ever seen  lol

I had an item sent from Moldovia which is almost next door to Romania and didn't have any probs.

I hope you realise that registered post only protects the seller, and not the buyer.

The buyer's protection comes from Paypal.
