Go into your purchase history, then click on the Archived dot. You should be able to find your item in there if it's more than 60 days since purchase. There won't be a photo, but the title will still be there. If it's less than 6 months since you purchased, copy the item number under the listing, then scroll back up the top and click advanced next to the big blue search button. Select item number, paste your item number in there and submit.

Your item will come up and you should be able to contact the seller. If it's more than 6 months, not sure.

Re: purchase history

Click on you purchase folder, make sure the radio button is on recent, then from the drop down menu under it choose 60 days

Re: purchase history

If it is older than 60 days there is nothing you can do as regards a claim anyway.  In fact it is too late for feedback as well.

All you can do is add a feedback followup to the feedback you may have already left.

Re: purchase history

Also after 60 days you can't even look at the item you actually bought in Purchase History, if the seller has since changed the specs on the listing. I looked up a tablet purchased five months ago, using both the Purchase History and the Ebay transaction number. Lo and behold, my A8 single-core processor has transmogrified into a dual-core A23 processor in all cases. Lucky the warranty period wasn't shortened while they were at it! Sellers come in all shapes and sizes, but it beats me why Ebay allows these alterations.

Re: purchase history

If you look up an item where the seller has modified the listing you will find a banner at the top of the listing stating that the listing has been altered or updated but you can see the item you purchased by clicking on the link.

Re: purchase history

Off the topic OP, if I'm out of line here, tell me to rack off! I looked at your feedback and listings and noticed that you have sold items for 99c that incurred a postage cost. I also noticed that you have items listed with a starting bid of 99c with $8.25 postage. If those items sell with only one bid, by the time eBay takes their fees on both the 99c and the postage cost and PayPal take their cut, you will be in the red.

Ignore eBay's recommendation to start auctions at 99c. It doesn't encourage buyers. All it does is give them money and you get money. In fact, you LOSE money. EBay and Australia Post is getting all the money from your sale and you are even paying them to take your money. Always start auctions at the lowest you are prepared to accept in case you only get one bid. Factor in the eBay fees, including fees on postage and also PayPal's fees. Add them into your start price, and the postage as you've done.

You should be making the profit on your items, NOT eBay! Good luck!
