And customs dogs who have been trained to sniff out food products wouldn't be likely to miss dog food products.

The scrunity and nit picking over any OPs or posters purchases is simply unacceptable.
IMO the posters (always the same ones) should be sanctioned and refrain from posting to any future OP threads.
All this behaviour serves to do is deter other buyers from seeking assistance on the boards.

And as for bright.on 42 why bloody bother buying anything from ebay period with your sour attitude.. Whinge whinge whinge Oh but you can buy it here in Australia oh oh oh its not possible, you have to get it on ebay oh dear whoa is me etc etc.
If you're going to have a go at somebody Michelle, at least try to make sure you have the right person. Bright.ton42 said nothing of the sort, and in fact asked a perfectly legitimate question, given that she has a number of pets of her own.
bright.ton42 said "Just curious, why would you buy petfood from the USA? Plenty of good stuff sold here. Just interested as I have pets and wonder what the US offers that we don't."
There is absolutely no sour attitude nor whinging in her very polite question. You were very rude to her and and I think you owe her an apology.

thanks cq, I think the op has got more mixed up in her head than referring to the wrong post - I won't hold my breath for an apology though.

Hello, everyone. Remember that interpersonal dispute is not allowed here, so please talk to each other in a courteous manner. Thanks very much. ๐

And as for your little scientific finding am3 which is based on what! Im really scratchin my head on this one. Where is that info from. .
It is from a Guinea Pig blog, as I posted. Written by person/people who care what they feed their small animals on.
I tried to find out what the 'treats' were made of, to see if there was anything in them was on a restricted/prohibited list for entry into Australia.
Which may have given a reason why your mail was not accepted for entry.

I still think it might have had something to do with Pitney Bowes not filling in the Customs Declarations correctly.
I have heard of several very ordinary items being seized because of PB's failure to do the right thing with the paperwork.
