received a package i didn't order

hello can anyone help out? i received a package today with my name and address on it but i didn't order it anything else from Ebay.  The senders address was on there however they are a 4X4 shop and the package i received were second hand bag pipes!! I called them but obviously they didn't send them and after we both stopped laughing agreed something has gone very wrong here. I want to make sure my account is secure and that someone else isn't looking for their bag pipes😭

People who send things can often use any empty box they have lying around.  I recently received a lego set in a  potato box.

However, it is odd they had the right name & address if no one at your house actually ordered anything (let alone second hand bagpipes).

How do you know the package was from an ebay purchase?

was there a tracking number, and if so check if the originating location matches the suburb or there abouts of the 4X4 shop
