reducing a bid.

If i have bid on an item say $10 and the current bid is mine at $6 can i reduce my bid down to $8? Please note i do not want to cancel it.

.i work damn hard for my money, and im not going to let anyone else get more than thir entitled to.



 


 


you bid $10 that is what the seller is ''entitled '' to so you are right, they will not get MORE than they are entitled to, but they may get the whole $10 if bidding continues, which is why you need to make your decisions on your hard earned cash before not after bidding.

"Should I care about spending $2 more than I wanted" 


 


or 


 


"Is it my fault that I bid more than I wanted"

OP you can not change your bid. but as others have said you can retract it and then place a new bid with the "correct" amount, depending on the amount of time the auction has to run.


 


I have accidentally entered the incorrect amount loads of times, I think it is easy to inadvertently make a mistake.
