I find the retailer ratings unreliable. I was not refunded for a faulty item i returned and yet they have a 100% satisfaction rating ???

Did you open and follow through with an item not as described dispute?
If so, did the seller issue you a return label and did you return it via the correct eBay process?
And if so, did you check the funding source for your refund?
Or did you just 'take the seller's word for it' and just return it?
What is the item number?
Was the feedback as a seller?
Was it left by buyers, or did it say 'ebay automated feedback'
Did you leave the seller a neg?
Did you have a question for other members?

What sandypebbles said.
Plus: You say you find the ratings unreliable so I am assuming you are complaining about a recent purchase yet I cannot see that you have left any recent feedback for anyone.
Any rating you see is from other people's feedback.
As sandy mentioned, how much of the feedback was for the person as a seller?
You have a rating of 104 yet you don't appear to have ever sold anything, so a person can easily have a 100% rating only based on them as a buyer. They may not be the most reliable seller.
Plus, even if their entire score was for selling, maybe they have been reliable up to that point. There is a first time for everything.
I did notice from your feedback that the last time you gave it, you gave the seller a positive and then said you didn't receive the item. So you were pushing up that seller's score-why?
Ratings can only be as accurate as the people making them.
Also, you seem to only leave feedback when there is a problem and the problems seem to be about not receiving your items or items not as described. Maybe have a look in the help pages about what to do so you know how to open a proper ebay claim. Don't rely on just solving it privately with the seller. Go through ebay for a return and refund, there is a procedure to follow.
