seller has not sent item i paid for

I paid for an item minutes after i won it, 8th of December, the seller stil has not sent the item, will not answer any messages requesting the item to be sent.  Ebay have given the standard 30 days for this seller to respond. Any ideas on what to do?

Open an item not received dispute through PayPal's resolution centre.

OP may not be able to do that sheeps, it sounds as though they've opened an eBay dispute, so the Paypal dispute process is no longer an option.

In 7 days it will be a month since i paid for an item I have still yet to receive.

Paid for on the 8th DEcember 2014,  The seller did respond a few days ago finally, stating they had been delayed in posting the item and due to Christmas period it is most likely somewhere.  No tracking number to track it with.

Should i get ebay to escalate or wait another week????

Where is the item coming from?

If it has just been posted you still need to wait an appropriate time for it to arrive, bearing in mind that there are still a few pubkic holidays to hold things up.

What is the estimated delivery date in the original listing ?

Is the item in Australia ?

WOW, that was a quick red dot. A bit premature I think. People can be quite busy in December and often work longer hours, so getting to the PO isn't always possible.
