Purchased an item 5 days ago and made immediate payment. The seller has not claimed the money(paypal) or replied to my emails. Am wondering what step to take now.

You can normally only revise feedback if the seller sends you a request.
In this case it might pay to ring eBay and see if they will remove it. Not that it's likely to matter to the seller.

What makes you think the seller died?

Hi, I would leave the feedback, that you have already left. It always raises a red flag to me, when I look at recent feedback from a seller and notice the only things that they have bought in the past 12 months are a few low cost items for $1 or $2. Then selling expensive items.
and if they have died they wont be using that account any more

I found an obituary for her.

Just so you know, obituaries are great places for scammers to find new names to use to set up dodgy or fake accounts. ๐

oh..:-(

I doubt that would be the case here. Given the account was obviously set up before the death.

It is legitimate. There are facebook R.I.P pages etc for her. And news articles. She died in a car accident at Raywood on the 1st Oct, Only a very young girl. Feel very sorry for her and her family.

That is so sad to hear. Such a tragedy when young lives are lost.
I would ring eBay and explain the situation and ask them if they could please remove the feedback.

Sorry to hear that your seller passed away, but why were you buying an android tablet that is having issues with wifi connection and no warranty for $100?
