If you are trying to buy Items from Australia, you now need to check out the seller first. The china sellers are stating that they are located in Melbourne or Sydney but if you look further into it. They are located in China. Not good

It's been going on for as long as I can remember, savvy buyers will always click on the seller's feedback and see where they are registered, and what sort of negs and neutrals they're getting.

That is not something new. It has been happening for many years. If you look through the the forum you will find many dozen threads about the subject.
When you are lokking at an item, I am sure that you check the sellers feedbackj. On that same page it will show you where they are registered. If it is an Asian country odds are that is where the items are coming from. Admittedly some do have warehouses in Aust but they are the excep0tion.

Common as and has been going on for a very long time
*BUT* having said that, just being in Australia does not automatically mean the seller is good or honest
People should be looking at who they are buying from anyway
Nothing new at all about sellers who are registered in China pretending they send from Australia when they don't. Sorry

Nothing new in that, you might also like to be aware that selecting a Seller that is registered in Australia, is no gaurantee of goods location, as there are many sellers registered here, who simply drop ship from outside Oz. This is not confined to ebay sellers either.
Note there are also sellers registered in China, Etc, that do have items located in Oz.
