now i find it very difficult to see what i have ordered and what has arrived.
before i would "leave feedback" and "hide order" when something arrived, but now hidden items are back, and other items i have had arrive are hard to find.
how can i get the old "purchases" format back, so that i can clearly see what i am still waiting for and especially what has not arrived?

You may be in luck. I was just in the 'My ebay' section & there was a blue link that said soemthing like 'Tell us what you think".
I think that is new? Not sure. But in any case, click on it. I suspect ebay has made changes and now for a short time, they are willing to get some feedback. This is your chance.
The "tell us what you think" links have been there for YEARS. People click on them, nothing changes.

Very sour comment.
maybe you need sugar 600 to sweeten yourself up a tad, hey ๐

I havenโt noticed any changes in my purchase page viewing, although I only use the eBay app, and I believe itโs set out differentlyโฆ.howeverโฆ. I do have the Australia Post app and it links up with all my online shopping apps, so when a tracking is scanned at any AU facility, I am notified on my Australia Post App and it then gives me the option to name this delivery.
I can also add tracking details if I post something and be notified when itโs delivered.
Only works for AU tracking numbers so doesnโt work for overseas tracking, however, once it hits Aussie land, itโs usually given a new tracking number and will appear on your list in the AP app.
Easier than eBay purchase history IMO ๐
Also eBay purchase history tab (in the eBay app, at least) will only go back 4yrs, even when you have (all purchases) selected.
Might be easier to check your emails for โorder confirmedโ if youโre expecting something but canโt remember what it wasโฆ..
My apologies if you already use this app and Iโve just told you something you already know. ๐

I am afraid sons_and_daughters is right, springyzone.
When they make changes, there is always (I think always at least) a "tell us what you think" link, but they don't revert changes if people are not happy, and they never reply either.

That's 10 minutes of your life you'll never get back. Obviously you didn't read the other replies after the one you replied to. You have completely wasted your time. Absolutely nothing will change by clicking that link. It's been there for well over 15 years. It's there to make people feel better by thinking they can make a change. Newsflash, the reports are completely ignored.

thats exactly what happened. then i read the other replies. thanks anyway

If you have 1000 or so friends, relatives or connections, all of whom buy on eBay, and you can get all of them to click that link and tell eBay that they will no longer use it, and each of them then cancels their eBay account, it might impinge on eBayโs design-deciding consciousness.
Otherwiseโฆ eBay knows that most people who complain about a change will end up getting used to it and will continue to use eBay.

You have to remember Countess, that from millions and millions and millions of users worldwide, those 1,000 members aren't even a grain of sand on a beach to ebay. They aren't going to make a blip of difference if they all close their accounts down. Ebay knows it and they don't care.

I chose 1000 as an arbitrary numberโฆ as a smidgeon that might be enough to be a pinprick.
But 999,000 friends etcโฆ is more than anyone would have, I suspect.
