Mine's fine on both Firefox and Chrome, have you tried clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer?
Doubt if it's an eBay problem, more like your browser or computer, otherwise these boards would be alight with the problem.

I've had contradictory advice from Ebay Help Desk where technical issues are concerned. They don't have a clue.
As padi says, most likely a problem with your computer/tablet.
Can you add items to your Watch List now, and view them?

This has happened on both a laptop pc and a desktop pc. I get "Sorry, we couldn't complete your request. Try again later."

Frustrating!
It could be an issue with just your account, or a small group of accounts. Which means Ebay won't prioritise fixing it!
You might be better off starting a new account for buying/watching.
You need a different email account but can use the same PP.

Yep. Happening to me too on my home PC and work PC. I have the latest Windows 10 updates and latest Internet Explorer updates done automatically so using an old version is not the issue. Nor is it the cache as I delete cache, cookies and browsing history every day when I close the PC down.
The message is "SORRY WE COULDNT COMPLETE YOUR REQUEST. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.'
I get this when I use the drop down menu on My Ebay at the top of the screen and also on the 'watch list' listing on the left of the screen in myebay. Funnily enough if you get the message on the drop down menu, then click watch list on the menu on the left it will work. Also visa versa.
It also happens when you choose active or ended on the watch list.
If you just keep clicking on watch list it will eventually open the watch list.
But its very frustrating. If you open an item on the watch list, then try to go back to the watch list you get the error message every time.
Can you just get ebay to work properly?

I have my watch list saved to favourites.
I don't have a problem getting in on a new tab
If you have Win10 try using the browser that came with it - Microsoft Edge

Worth reporting to Ebay.
When you do manage to open the Watch List you can report it there under: "Tell us what you think" (top right).
Otherwise Contact Ebay directly.
