what is a reference number, when sending goods in the address

I have a US ebay seller, saying that they cannot print labels due to a reference number or something in my address ( AUS).

No one has mentioned this before, have brought a few dolls from the US and no problems.

Can anyone explain what this reference number is and how do I adjust so they can print out labels for sending.

eBay add gobbledegook to Australian sales. I don't know about the US; I wouldn't have thought it applied.

Can the seller strip out the reference number before printing?

Can't help otherwise - I no longer use eBay labels, so my knowledge is dated.

if  there is this line  "ABN#64652016681 Code: PAID” 

tell them get rid of this 

and try print the label 👍
