Hi ...i want to know other peoples thoughts here.
I purchased an item here. When i received it, it was sent from a well known store on the web not the person i bought it off.
In other words This person bought the item under my name from a store at a cheaper price that they are advertising and charged me the $10 more on here for the same item that the same store to me. Thats like me giving her a bonus to buy something for me. She does not hold stock only buys from other stores at time of buyer purchasing. That is not a definition of a reseller. But Ebay is ok with it???
I feel ripped off and pissed off

Hi - I understand your frustration. If it makes you feel better the actual profit for the seller on this item, minus ebay and paypal fees would have been about $6.50 - maybe a little more if they have a store.
For me, as a seller, the hassle of sending items where I don't have any say over quality control wouldn't be worth it, but people are entitled to run their business as they see fit. At least you know where to look next time you have to buy a dog bed.

FTR - A reseller is a company or individual that purchases goods or services with the intention of reselling them rather than consuming or using them.
It does not define when the goods or services are purchased, how they are purchased or how they are paid for or even if they ever take physical possession of them.
Consequently, the seller is spot on with their claims that they are a reseller. They sent an order for the item, presumedly they either pay at the time or on invoice, but regardless, they will have to pay, and it is my guess that they made this purchase because they needed to in order to get the goods to you rather than they wanted a dog bed for their own use.
Additionally, they are a store owner. They have an eBay store.
So, their claims to you about being a reseller and a store owner are in fact CORRECT.
Starting from $20 a month (there are more expensive store packages), just about anyone can be an eBay store owner.....

Tuckcase Iknow a seller has the right to make a profit..But they should buy the item first.then sell for profit............Not use my name to buy an item and charge me a higher price .........People please look up reseller definition..
Thank you
I've asked how they did this. Well this is how the supplier has informed me they operate,
They didn't use your name to purchase the item.
They purchased the item under their name through their account and listed your details for the delivery address.

It doesn't matter if they are a reseller, a supplier, a drop shipper or a Venusian mud monster, they are responsible for the supply and condition of the items and if there is a problem and you have paid with Paypal you will get your entire payment back if you win a dispute and return the item as and when instructed by Paypal to the address given by Paypal by a qualifying delivery method.

This is wrong, you should NOT have to deal with her supplier, she sold the item therefore she is responsible for making the Buyer whole.
Desiree I get your frustration, however while annoying it is perfectly legitimate .HOWEVER The seller must abide by all ebays policies in regard to their responsibilty to you.
There are thousands of really wonderful Sellers on ebay, some of whom have replied to your thread, dont let this deter you.

Desiree67 - Deals Direct act as a supplier for a number of sellers on ebay. It is part of their business structure.
