ANYONE can use a sniping service, it's not exclusive to certain members... ebay probably couldn't care less if someone snipes, they get their money either way.. It's also not Software, you can just go to a website...

It is perfectly possible to manually snipe in the last 5 seconds (or even less) of an auction unfortunately some of us are unable to do so and use a sniping service instead. Why is this unfair? I will only win if I bid more than everyone else so how does it matter when my bid was placed or if I did it myself or used a service.
