When I am trying to search for a product the search and listing pages load very slowly.
I checked my hardware and connection and the problem only occurs on ebay buying pages.
My seller pages all load fast enough but when I want to look at a tool to buy it takes so long that I can get up and get a drink before the search has loaded. The individual listings are just as bad.
I am using chrome

Mine are loading fine.
I mainly use Firefox, but I also use Chrome. Both with adblock plus.
The usual remedy is to clear cache and cookies, change browser and/or reboot your computer.

Try the usual remedy as mentioned by davewil and make sure you have an adblocker on your browser.....that seems to be the most usual "fix" at the moment.

Yep Adblock solved it for me with chrome too. Even though backpaging reloaded the page it does a refresh of the ads. So when you have jumped back and forward a couple of times it stops dead.
I reckon Ebay are shooting themselves in the foot over this as many buyers will browse around, the site slows, so they give up.
