I am a regular searcher for books as I am a thematic collector and have discovered quite a few items for my collection over the last few years.
Pages in the Antiquarian and Collectable Book category on Ebay Australia were the same as other categories, it was possible to select 200 items per page and do several other modifications.
NOT POSSIBLE NOW
ebay must have small children designing their pages now or do not want sellers to sell their books
I can only view a maximum of 50 listings per page making my searches slower and much less enjoyable, I also canot work out where I left off the day before.
How can I get ebay to revert back to the old format?
I have left "strongly dissatisfied" feedback with strong comments in the "tell us what you think" but presume they go straight to a trash box somewhere to be emptied frequently.
Help

Usually, if you scroll down a bit further it gives you your normal search, and drop downs
to sort your search.
I think i'ts your new ebay experience.
If this gets you through, bookmark it or save the search
I search newly listed in a specific category every day. I always click on the first one,
even if I don't want to look at it, as that highlights the listing.
I can then search tomorrow and scroll back to the highlighted listing.
Then I know I'm up to date.

many thanks for the link, that particular search is Antiquarian books only and contains part of the Antiquarian & Collectable Books genre I have been searching for many years, it can be modified like all my other searches.
Below is the Category I have been searching for many years and contains many more listings but no way of modifying the page, it has only been in this format for last 2 months approx.
I tried using Ebay UK and Ebay USA but the format is the same.
all the best

Probably doesn't help, but not all antiquarian & collectable are.
I recently had eBay decide one of my mass market paperbacks was. I ended up having to use 'Does Not Apply' for the ISBN in order to (re)list it in the correct category. Not to mention the number of audio books Pan apparently published (with book ISBNs) in the '70s.
Sellers - use prefill data at your peril.

Searching vinyl records by category is a joke now. I've noticed a lot of rare items selling on Ebay for low prices. Many people are buying from discogs now ... I probably spend more there than on E-bay these days. Ebay Australia makes it hard to find good vinyl items ... the UK and US sites are better IMO.

yes, I agree, Ebay have made it very difficult for regular collectors to find items, the ebay search engine is a joke and the advanced search not much better, presumably very young programmers are involved and they simply dont have a clue.
good luck with your collecting, I am fortunate to have found many scarce items years back, just finding the odd one now, postage from UK still reasonable but USA postage prohibitive and Australian postage just gone up again.
