The seller does not seem to want to refund for this item. It malfunctioned the first time I used it. Pay Pay is trying to resolve. However, why was it removed from ebay in the first place?

This is a member to member discussion board not ebay you are talking to so we have no idea what the item is or why it was removed and ebay would not tell you why anyway.

You say Paypal is trying to resolve it, what exactly do you mean? You open a dispute, the seller responds or not and then you escalate to a claim and if you win you are given the address to send the item back to using a fully trackable postage method.
