Hi everyone
I'm new to the group. I wondered about waiting until tomorrow, Caturday, to join, then was reminded by the name of the group that everyday is Caturday, so here I am!
What is new in your world of kitties?

Good morning all crazy cat lovers and a special hello and welcome to Book-of Hezekiel. What may we call you for short?
I was searching around for something interesting new about cats and here's what I found:
http://www.catsinfo.com/catnews.html
One of the stories:
Hope, Freedom, Amber & Flag
The World Trade Center recovery effort has brought much sadness but there have been many tales of bravery and survival. They include one very resourceful cat. Beneath the decimated area where the World Trade Center once stood, life was found in a forgotten basement. Rescuers discovered a blast survivor curled up in a carton of napkins. When the box was brought up, there were even more survivors-- three kittens.
The mother cat found her way into a safe, secure area to give birth to the kittens in a box of napkins, which couldn't be anymore safe, secure and cushioned for her kittens. Vets felt these little survivors needed names. Mom has been christened "Hope" and the babies are "Freedom", "Amber" and "Flag." It's very fitting for a family determined to survive despite the close call. Vets predict a full recovery for the entire cat family.
Have a great caturday. I'm not game to make a cat thread on CS after all the ballyhoo about cats in the last few days.

Hi icyfroth
thanks for the welcome 🙂 I usually use BoH as my short name.
I loved the site you found - it made me say "awww" a lot!
I have been surfing around the auctions and have seen several bits and pieces featuring kitties. They are so cute but I have to be good else I'll buy it all up.
I'm looking forward to the next installment of mews of the day!

Hi BoH 🙂
Do you have a cat?
Love to hear some stories and maybe some pics 🙂

sadly I haven't had a cat for many years but two of my neighbours have four cats each so I get a dose of catty goodness on a regular basis, plus I live vicariously through looking at pictures on the internet.
Also, being Sunday, I communed with Ceiling Cat today 🙂

hi alyceanne1
My family usually had tabbies. They were very cuddly. Although, we had one girl who had a bit of Siamese in her - she was peculiar. Her name was Maggie. She loved Dad, tolerated me, was indifferent to my siblings and despised my mother. Although, Maggie did make an exception to her indifference when one day she deliberately diverted from her path to give my sister a clip under the earhole for no apparent reason, then carried on as if nothing had happened!
hi syrupsmummy!

That's funny about Maggie, BoH
I really like these cat smileys 🙂
I don't have any pets seeing we live inner-city (Sydney) but hubby and I would love to have a ginger cat called Ranga and a german shepherd called Schultz.
Meantime, I collect cat figurines. Here are some of them:
