AFL 1996 Collector Cards

Hi there

I have an almost complete set of 1996 Select AFL footy cards, series 1 and 2, and would like to get some idea of a value please.

If anyone can help, I can list all the cards that I have e.g. commons, best & fairest, hot numbers etc.

Thanks for that.  They are mostly single cards or partial sets of commons.

I have the complete set of cards - series 1 and 2 - all in the official album.

Thanks siddieswans.  That is exactly what I was looking for, but mine has more than that.  According to their ad it consisted of 250 + 150 common cards for series 1 and 2.  I have all of those plus almost all of the specials.

I would think that if they came from the James Hird collection the albums would be complete. I would think what they meant was 250 numbered cards for Series 1 - and 150 for Series 2, plus the extras in each. They are all described in the Checklist

Thanks again siddieswans.  I misunderstood the reference to James Hird, as I've not heard of the James Hird Collection.
