Any info on this desktop watch/clock?

Brand Gang-Nail with an asterisk..30+ years old,self winding,gold in color.Face measures 1inch and on like a 5cm long like pipe,hollow,gold in color and fairly heavy with weight.Face is black but with movement Gang nail,emblem and numbers illuminate.Stamped made in Hong Kong,i can find zero info on google and was hoping someone on here would know.It appears rather well made.Any info would be much appreciated or where to find some info and or it's background etc.

Is it more likely a non branded clock and was made for the company Gang Nail as a promotional item ? (Give-aways)

It looks like a company logo rather than the clock manufacturers logo.

Would definitely agree this looks like a promotional give-away for Gang-Nail roof truss system. If you google "promotional desk clock" there are dozens of similarly-designed items awaiting company logos. Can't imagine it has any significant commercial value.

I was thinking after i posted that it must have some ties to Gang Nail.

Regards promotional though,they look too cheap and tacky,i'm more inclined to think  that instead of a gold watch for years of service,you got a gold clock.
