Thank you all for your patience with me. I really do appreciate it.

This brooch was my mother's. Whether or not it was handed down to her from her mother I have no idea.

As usual I have tried googling different words and word combinations, and done a google image search, but to no avail.

I doubt that the pink stones would be of any value, but that's just a guess. One of them is missing. I can't find any marks on the back of it.

Thanks twynnie, you're so good to me.

Any idea what the purple petals on mine could be made from?

It almost looks like some sort of plaster, for want of a better, more accurate, technical term! 😄

So pretty!

Mine isn't as shiny as that but time frame would probably be about right.

I guess the lesson is to leave notes about jewellery for those who come after. 😞

Wow! Amazing ! The back of the last one looks remarkably like the back of mine, except o different colour, of course. But at least that's narrowed down it's age. Seems it would have definitely been Mum's and not my grandmother's.
