D'arcy Doyle - Bringing in the Wool - Help Please

Hi, Any help would be appreciated please.

I recently picked up this print. 

Measuring 510mm x 1370mm. It has some water damage with a line running down the right hand side of the picture and some water damage to the bottom of this picture.

It seems to be a limited edition of 126/500

I have attached 2 pictures, one of the print and the other of the info taped to the back of the picture by a previous owner.

Would this item be worth auctioning or should I just keep it.

If it was in perfect condition, I image it would be worth about some money IF (and that's a big if) you found someone who wanted to buy it. Have a look at completed D'arcy Doyle limited edition prints on eBay - you will see about 95 and only a handful have sold. I see that it was one of his earliest prints and in a small edition of only 500. So it was published apparently in 1981 and is one of his more desirable prints. BUT it is damaged, has a very obvious line through the image, and has further water damage you describe (but I can't see from your photo.)

I would think the value would be minimal - if you like it, hang it on your wall. I think you would be inviting trouble trying to sell a damaged print on eBay. Maybe it would be worth sending to a B&M auction where buyers could assess the damage themselves????
