Re: How is everyone?

Erica you are just as important as any of us here and if you need to get anything off your chest then you are quite welcome.  It is a form of therapy and does make you feel better and we all care about making others feel better.

Re: How is everyone?

spooky day shopping yesterday. we were in a second hand book shop that had a special of a bag of books for $10. Hubby went mad and picked out a heap of books and checked his change. He asked me what changed I had because he only had $9.85. I checked my change and I had exactly $9.85. LOL

He ended up with 22 hard cover westerns.

Re: How is everyone?

I agree, spooky but it's a good thing keeping OH happy with something to read while you trawl the oppies on the holiday. 😉

Kate & Adam moved from Parramatta to Riverwood on Saturday. It will be lovely having them much closer now.  She lives one minutes walk from the local Vinnies & Sallies.  OH & I are going over with Zara today to help her unpack some boxes so I might need to go for a walk. :8}

Erica you are coping with some serious stuff you have your say any time you like.  I think it keeps me sane, helps me sort myself out, so to speak.

Les got an electric hospital bed today, I am sleeping beside him in Hannah's little bed, that's ok, cause I am short.  My bedside chest is in the wardrobe, just have to open the door when I go to bed, sometimes you have to think outside the square.

Re: How is everyone?

I think a lot of people on this board think outside the square. The electric bed must be a godsend.

I have a sick son a gain. He missed taking tablets and plummetted. Lucky we have a psychiatrist appointment on Monday.

Re: How is everyone?

Hi,  Good to hear everyone is improving, just in time for Christmas.

We are getting organised, slowly, we are having a Street party this year, and you will never guess where it is being held, you got it, my outdoor area and back yard.  Bring a drink, plate of food and a chair. I will get some plastic glasses, plates and serviettes and supply the venue.  We have 25 residences in the two Courts, no idea how many will be here, potential for 50 adults and a number of small people.  We used to have them when I first moved here but they petered out a number of years ago.  Thought it was appropriate that we have one this year, we have a lot of new people and it is a bit of a bonding thing after the floods earlier this year.  Should be a good night.

Christmas is fairly low key, drinks with the neighbours early in the morning, then just Neil and I and the little dog for lunch. Usually by the time christmas gets here I am all partyied? out and need a bit of a break.

What is everyone else doing?
