Re: How is everyone?

Good luck with everything, Wilma.

It doesn't sound very pleasant, but you'll probably feel a whole lot better, afterwards.:-x

Re: How is everyone?

Good luck Wilma but I don't think you will get any wine. Mick tried that with beer and they wouldn't do it.

Re: How is everyone?

Hi,

thanks everyone, I am not expecting to have any problems, need to be fit when I get out of the hospital, have to take SIL shopping.

Specialist is hoping that a better blood supply will make that kidney work a bit better. Will let you know how it all goes when I get home again, we are aiming for Thursday.

Re: How is everyone?

Hi,

Thank you for the good wishes, they must have worked.  We arrived home about an hour ago, bit stiff and sore from sitting in the car most of the day but otherwise just a bit tired.  The procedure went well, though he had to change the stent, the first one was too large in diameter and a bit too long.  Needed some heparin to make my blood thinner and slipperier - hows that for a word - so had to wait longer in recovery for my clotting factor to get high enough to have the thingie taken out.  The time spent laying still, on my back, was a problem, I have a bad back that makes my hips ache.  I did stay still, well almost, and I din't complain much, well not very much.  I reckon that should fix me up for a couple more years, hopefully.  I spent $5 in the Antique Shops, set of koala salt and peppers and a book, must be a record for me.

Re: How is everyone?

That's really good news. :-x

Once you get over the lying on your back and the procedure you should start to feel the benefits.

What I want to know is, where's the pic of your big buy? :^O
