Well done Miss Linda, 3 days must be some sort of a record for a house sale, you can now get serious about finding a new place to live. We have moved back into the house, last Monday, whatever that date was, must say it is nice to have a roof that you can't see daylight round the edges. New kitchen is working well, though we have decided to have the range hood ducted rather than buying charcoal filters every 6 months - they are $75 on the internet. Will have to get some photos so I can show it off. Small dog is settled in again, spends most of the day either following Neil round or sleeping in her chair in the lounge, nights are back in her basket in the laundry, she has discovered the pantry where her food is kept, all is well with her world. That's it for now.

Have to confess, my regular camera was packed into a box after the flood, Neil came home with another rather nice little digital camera so I have been using it. took pictures, before, during and after, loaded them into the computer, had a look to make sure they were O.K. and then they disappeared. Well they are in there somewhere but I can't find them. Next installemnt, found the box with my regular camera, raced round took more pictures, beauty know what I am doing this time, downloaded them, great pics of Jesse with her christmas gifts, Neil with a rather nice fish, all my Desert Roses that I no longer have, and the inside of the house. Had a look at them and they turned out pretty good. Started to write the story to go with them, headed into the picture file and what do you know, they are there but minus the photos of the house, now where the hell did they go. Maybe I had downloaded Jesse and the flowers and fish at some time previous so that is why they are there, but happened to the ones I have just taken. Will keep trying and maybe it will be third time lucky. Keep tuned as there is bound to be more in the "adventures of the restored house".
Wilma.

Can't wait to see your pics Wilma, I saw the kitchen on FB, it is stunning. I have bought a unit, it is the first one I looked at but was too dear for me, I found out I get a once once Pension exemption.on stamp duty, so that left me with a bit more cash, thought about it and finally rang Brett and said i really liked that unit, told him the most I could pay (it was quite a bit less than they wanted)....he rang back 5 minutes later and they have accepted my offer, contract shoud be signed early next week then I will have about 6 weeks to get outa Dodge,
