Just popping in to say "Hi!" Trying to catch up on what is happening.

Still seeing with only one eye until Friday, when I have to see thr eye surgeon again. Hopefuly I'll be able to get new glasses and use both eyes again.

It's frustrating when the eyes start watering after looking at something for a couple of minutes only. That's why I have not been around for a while.

I hope every one is well and happy.

Erica, you are getting there, I know it must be frustrating, but, baby steps will still get you where you need to be.

I use Poly Tears,(Lubricating Eye Drops) for when my eye gets a bit "scratchy",:-x

That might help,:-x

Most of those fake tears are good for it and you can get them on the PBS.

Thank you, tazz, but I have two different lots of eye drops that I have to use every four hours.

This afternoon I am seeing the Eye Surgeon again. Hopefully I'll be able to get new glasses soon.

Only four sleeps to go before I "dissapear" for seven weeks,traveling around the UK and Scotland.

Be interesting to see how prices have changed over the last two years.

We will be visiting Newark again plus an antique fair somewhere in Scotland.

Before that I will be attending The Carnival Glass Society (UK) AGM where they are holding an auction plus several for sale tables.

Think I am going to have fun LOL.

Loved the "car boot" sales in Scotland,(picked up some good stuff)]:)

It takes hours to get around some,(that was back in 2001) 😮

Petrol was 99 P per litre,(the exchnage rate was 44 P),:_|

At least the rate is better now.

We sent OH's  family money to buy us a car and then they sold it once we left,(was a lot cheaper then hiring one) 😄

Wish my suitcase was empty,just may have to unpack and start again LOL.

Do know I could buy clothing there,but I hesitate in leaving things out.

When I get there I will start a new topic and hopefully put photos up,think we have worked out how to load photos on hubby's Apple laptop,putting them on the list may be a different kettle of fish.

If anyone can give me tips on what to do it will be appreciated.

I'm heading to Melbourne on Tuesday arvo for two nights with Kate & Sean. We're planning on going to Chapel St bazaar on Wednesday and some other places if we can negotiate the transport system.  Thanks Pip for the info, very much appreciated. 🙂  On Thursday, I'm planning on visiting some 'rellies' in Fawkner Cemetery in the morning with Sean. I must pick up a map before I go too so I can figure out where everything is.

If anyone is around on Wednesday, Kate & I would like to meet any Melbournians if there is an opportunity. Bear in mind that I don't know my way around there at all but we thought Chapel St Bazaar might be interesting and possibly Malvern Antique Centre or Camberwell AC they aren't too far away.
