Hi Granny,
I hope the weather is kind to you in our lovely country and over the channel too in Bruges. Can't wait to see what you turn up over there. I hope you find some Aussie Pots to give us a thrill and some fabulous glass for your collection.
Hi Mon,
Did you find any wonders in Melbourne to show us? Even if you didn't it is great to get to new hunting grounds,
Cheers,
Pip

Hi Pip, nothing to show. Didn't have time to shop or even look. Kate lost her wallet on a train on Wednesday but fortunately got it back about 7 hours later (minus $$) but the cards were there and we spent the time phoning banks etc. Because Sean was on her ticket Jetstar weren't going to let them fly home without ID!! ALL her ID was in the wallet!! We spent the arvo getting documents emailed to print out so she could come home. The day was really wasted. We found we couldn't take a stroller on the trams as they were too crowded and the steps too high so had to rely on train travel. Totally missed any shopping chances. I did go to Fitzroy Gardens yesterday to see Cook's Cottage. Dad's pottery had made a model of it and Mum & Dad always had one on the wardrobe so I've always wanted to see it.
Bit disappointing really but still enjoyed seeing some of Melbourne as we did a bit of walking. I think I'll need another trip. ๐ Sean was a great traveller too. :-x

Oh Mon,
How disappointing for the three of you. I'm really sorry to hear that news, but glad that things worked out in some way.
It sounds like a very good reason to go back for a better trip,
Cheers,
Pip
