Hi Miss Linda, Happy Easter to you and the family. We are both doing O.K., still in the shed and no sign of moving any time soon. The builder is busy with his Insurance jobs and can only come here when he has men spare, guess we will keep waiting.
Have sent a couple of emails to the Insurance company and asked them to review our case as I feel they did not show due care when we took out the policy. Also suggested that they have another talk to the Hydrologist as I believe the water that flooded us was not from the river, but from the swamp at the back of us where a lot of the town rain water from the gutters etc, drains and then goes to the river via a creek. We have a number of large open drains that take the rainwater to the swamp and then to the river. I might be clutching at straws but have to try everything I can think of.
In the meantime, we wait, but not very patiently.
