things are much the same here, Vic's doing OK in care, not great, lots of pain some days, but I drop in for an hour or so every day, most days we have a little chat, some days (the bad ones) we dont.

he knows me and knows most of what's going on around him, but struggles with his vocabulary some days. 😞

I'm fine, finding my 'single' frame of mind, and doing a bit more voluntary work helps.

Turned 64½ this week ! yippeeeee I'm finally an Old Age Pensioner.  only a part pension but at least I get something to help with Vics fees, and of course the ''discounts'' that go with a pension are a blessing.

hope everyone else is fine here, I read a lot on the boards, dont write much.

It's sad Lyndel, but, Vic is getting the best care there.  Good for you, a part Pension is good, the Pension Card is great, the benefits really are worth having.  Keeping busy is the key to learning to live alone I think.
