I am a Nanna again folks. Youngest, Louise and her fiancee, Craig just had a little boy called Ethan Wayne Renshaw, he has the same second name as his Pop, that's nice.

congratulations Granny Linda.โฅ how wonderful.
things are much the same here, Vic's doing OK in care, not great, lots of pain some days, but I drop in for an hour or so every day, most days we have a little chat, some days (the bad ones) we dont.
he knows me and knows most of what's going on around him, but struggles with his vocabulary some days. ๐
I'm fine, finding my 'single' frame of mind, and doing a bit more voluntary work helps.
Turned 64ยฝ this week ! yippeeeee I'm finally an Old Age Pensioner. only a part pension but at least I get something to help with Vics fees, and of course the ''discounts'' that go with a pension are a blessing.
hope everyone else is fine here, I read a lot on the boards, dont write much.

It's sad Lyndel, but, Vic is getting the best care there. Good for you, a part Pension is good, the Pension Card is great, the benefits really are worth having. Keeping busy is the key to learning to live alone I think.
