Yes, LJ was here for 10 days, and they just flew by. we had a lot of fun, did some good shopping, movies (Hugo), craft meetings and a Market.  She went home thisafternoon.

so it's back to (eBay)work for me, and time to get sorting and pre-packing for our move end of April !!

that' ll just be a temp. move until I get this place sorted out and ready to sell.... big year coming up and I've not done a lot cause I hate hot weather...grrrrrrrr.

glad your new car suits you. I sympathize with the back probs, David, my chiro, keeps mine in check with regular (expensive) visits...and my neck, which is worse than my back !!

We are still having rain, was fine yesterday but rained again last night. We are not having a problem with flooding, well not at present that is.  If the river rises and the storm water can't drain into it, then we have a problem.

It is raining at present, would think there will be no markets today, well not for us that is.

Lyndel, I don't envy you having to pack and move but glad you enjoyed LJ's visit during the holidays.

We've had TWO days of fine sunny weather together AND on the weekend!!  Back to rain for the rest of the week from late tomorrow though. :_|

I wanted to let you know that Hansel passed away on 27th January so that's the end of our two lovely dachshunds.  He's joined Gretel & Albert in the front yard.  He missed going to the vet by a few hours and passed peacefully at home.  We still have Angel who will be 11 in June and is becoming very sooky since Hansel left us as she has no one to mother. 😞

I am so sorry to hear about Hansel, it is always such a sad time when we lose one of our four legged friends.

Given time Angel will get used to be an only dog and probably start "mothering" you.

I know is very sad and when Rosies time comes I will be a mess, but I am so glad he died peacefully at home.  i met the new owners of our old house adn I dint want to tell them of the animal graveyard in the back yard.

All the paperwork for my legal stuff has been served and now we are well on the way.  No backing out now. I feel sick just thinking what tricks the insurer is going to pull.

Singing you have too much invested in this to give up, you will get through whatever they throw at you, and, yes, they are snakes.  Don't waste your energy on anger, use your brain and honesty to beat them.
