Hi,
Yes, we had rain today too, it started last night very gently, bit heavier today, no market for the OH, but the lawns have been watered.
Miss Linda, good to hear that Oscar has a new home, he will enjoy living inside and having people to play with him.
How is the new car, will be easier for you to drive and park round the town, I still can't quite believe the difference between our Troop Carrier and the Suzuki.
I have been having computer problems, needed a new graphics card, had one fitted but still have starting and closing down problems. My IT person is driving his taxi for a couple of days and won't be here until Tuesday morning, said on the phone tonight that it could be the Mother Board (whatever that is) to me it sounds like I need a new computer.
That's it for me.

Well, for once, I wasn't wrong, I need a new computer, the Mother Board is dying RIP, and the hard drive is not feeling very well. I have the whole thing closed down, don't want it to die before we get all the info out of it that I need to keep. The laptop will have to do all the work for the present. The IT person is trying to locate "Top of the Line" parts that supposedly have a life of 5+ years instead of the readily available ones with a life of 2+ years - hey don't yell at me I am just quoting what he tells me. When he has all the bits I will have a new computer, apparently I don't need a key board , screen or speakers, guess that is some sort of a saving.
Neil went fishing this morning, came home with a nice sized shark, don't know what sort but don't think it was a Great White, reckon it will make a good casserole with some coconut milk, broccoli, pasta and a couple of other things. Also caught a nice lot of prawns, have just finished cooking them, of course you have to eat at least 4 out of each batch to make sure they are cooked, 4 batches now how many did I eat, probably more than I should. Will give some to the neighbours they might like some more. We have had fresh ones every second day for a while, hope they aren't getting sick of them..
Well that is my day so far, just have to bring in the washing and finish the ironing, deliver some prawns, cook the dinner and I am done for the day. Might even get to watch some tennis tonight, bad luck about Sam Stouser, she just can't seem to perform in front of the locals, maybe local expectations are just too much for her .
You won't hardly believe this but it is raining and I haven't brought in the washing, oh well guess that is one less job to do.
Be back later.
Wilma.

Wilma you do seem to go through a lot of computers, always something isn't there. Getting my new car on Friday, sold the xtrail to the little sister today. Still have youngest here, she has 2 weeks off, so hopefully by then she will be really well again.

I've also had computer problems recently and had to change to another one. Seems I go through one a year and I only use it for family history research, ebaying, email, and a bit of work in MS Office. No games or anything like that. It's a pain backing up and restoring everything once a year. ๐

Mon I have a portable hard drive and I back up the programs I cannot afford to lose, once a month, it's then easy for me to switch computers if I have to.

Would you believe that my desktop was built in 2003, it has done a pretty good job I think. It is turned on and used spasmodically and fairly often, from about 6.00 a.m. to round about 10.30 p.m. This is the first time it has caused me any grief. The say that they have a life of about 5 years. Don't know when the new one will be ready, in the meantime I have the joy of using the laptop :-(.

Gee Wilma, that's pretty good for a computer. I only have the netbook now, gave Les' new lappy to youngest and his big one to eldest, didn't have the heart to sell them, he loved them so much.
Getting new car tomorrow, should be excited, but I'm not, maybe will be when I drive it.

Hi Miss Linda,
Would you believe it is raining, again, started last night and is still doing it, think it is supposed to last all week. Oh well I guess I wasn't really planning any outdoor activities this week so it doesn't really matter.
I am still plugging away at the laptop, don't know how the new desk top is progressing, suppose I should give the IT person a call and find out. I am missing having a printer, OH wants to send a letter to the local paper and I have no printer to print it. He has gone to see our neighbour and see if she will do it for him - type and print the letter!!
Glad you like your new car, what is the matter with your hip, maybe you need to come to the chiropractor with me, he is trying to fix/relieve my back problems, 2 worn out vertabrae with spurs and an almost non existant disc, don't like his chances of a fix maybe a relieve is the best I can hope for.
Tennis is getting interesting, bad luck for Hewitt, he played very well but as he is carrying an injury I guess it was a bit much to hope for that he would beat the World Number 1, but I still think he "did good".
That's about it for me. Hello to everyone else, nice finds you have all been having , wish we had some of it up here.

Wilma my hip is not serious and is fixable, hope the chiro helps you.
Very hot here, no rain. Still watching the tennis, I thought Hewitt played the best I have seen him play for 3 years.
