Can you help me identify this? It is associated with Australian war medals. I want to sell it but don't know what to name the listing. Thanks

Thanks though not a broach as it doesn't have a way to pin it on to a garment.

I think you are right.

This looks like the bottom piece for the medal with a bar for the ribbon.

So yes, I would call it the suspension ring with bottom bar.
