Musical Porcelain Storage in USA and shipment to Australia

Hello

I have been collecting musical porcelain which is mostly available in the USA for a few years now.  I have had issues with the last couple of companies I have used.

  • Poor contact with company in regard to customer service and problems
  • Poor receipt of goods and opening fragile goods without my permission and no experience in fragile goods.
  • Badly packed consignments & breakages
  • Goods thrown out

I am hoping that someone can recommend a company where I can purchase goods from eBay.com, Etsy, Mercari etc.  Then have the goods delivered to a central point, check to make sure goods are not broken and working, accept individual parcels until I have enough to make a shipment and consolidate into one or two boxes and pack the goods professionally so that the goods don’t get broken

I have never experienced anything of the sort that you've described, knot2old56.

Comgateway's fee per shipment includes insurance, so I cannot fathom why you would have been unable to be reimbursed for any damage. I've been using them for years, and for all but 2 items, everything has arrived safely with extra packaging when I needed it. I've not had any problems communicating with them via Live Chat and email.

Well, everyone's experience is different...

Interesting.

Taking your points :

Poor everything with regard to the customer .

Poor receipt - who received - who opened without your permission.??

Badly packed - ????

To say nothing of  ' goods thrown out '.

I am hoping that someone can recommend a company where I can purchase goods from eBay.com, Etsy, Mercari etc.

Wouldn't that be - you. ??

Think this is going to be one of the ' best '.

Musical - hope the OP - isn't into harps.

You say the items were opened and repacked. Were the sellers using the GSP for shipping the items ?

If so, don't use sellers that use the GSP.

What were the item numbers ?

Hello No this would not be me.  The goods are delivered into the USA as I might buy 30 Used music boxes in 6 months.  When they are delivered to the freight forwarders they say they have to inspect the package so they open it.  Why they do this i never get a straight answer.  I suspect they shake the packages to see if anything is broken if they don't open them which damages the music box.

It's the Global Shipping Program run by Pitney Bowes. In the listing it will show up as below.
