Hello everyone, I'm trying to find out more about a ring I have, but there doesn't seem to be much
info on Platinum Marks.

Very interesting....I haven't got a clue, other than to say the colour is nice....I also thought why would you bother putting a ruby in 9kt?....but then, I have a 14k pendant with a dark red stone that seems to have a shard out of it or a deep scratch = garnet maybe? Why bother putting garnet into 14K ?. Who knows. We're getting a jeweler to take a look on Monday and the antique jewelery mob will have their jeweler take a look too.
Thanks for the link....oldworld...will have a good read of that too. It's much easier with straight up gold....no stones to wonder over...but the history helps.
