Photograph on glass

I have inherited a beautiful photograph of my grandmother, which is on milk glass - believe it to be what they call an opalotype.

Does anyone know how this should be framed (behind glass for protection etc?) and of anyone who can do this,

Would really appreciate any assistance with this.

I will see if I can find an old frame - I am not in a hurry so will wait for the right one and meanwhile see if I can search more information.

This is the photo - there appears to be some hand embellishing on it also.

i have this one stored away, i don't know who the girl is though. i must have a look and see if its glass. have to find it first.:-)

t's a lovely frame
