Can anyone tell the odds of being outbid twice by $1 above my maxbid and the item was more than $30 below my max bid in the last 7 seconds. My father is a computer teacher at VU in Melbourne and he said it would be about a Billion to1.
I want people to get together and push back against these turds from stampboards that run peoples names down and get all the good stuff for themselves. When you read the forums on stampboards its like listening to question time and the two biggest imbeciles in the country going at it. Who is with me???

Georrgy is right OP. It's a snipe by someone who bid more than than you whether it's $1 or $100. Happens all the time with the auctions, regardless of stamps or anything else on ebay.

Well garvoc the odds would be more like 50/50. it only takes one other bidder to outbid you. Hint set your max bid higher next time....just a thought.
The odds on this happening cant be as you state a billion to one as there are only 20 million people live in australia.
Take out those who dont own a computer and your down to 15 million,
take those who dont collect stamps and now your down to about one million
now take from that one million, those serious collectors who wouldn't ever risk buying that elusive rare stamp from ebay and your now down too about 2.
you and that other guy....

Odds are nothing to do with what I was saying, so our population is irrelevant smartass.
Is this just another place to mock people is it?
No way I could be outbid by $1 over MY maxbid on 3 items in a row. Im not an idiot and I would appreciate if people replying wouldnt mock me. Obviously people read what they want in my post and assume the rest.
