I went to a garage sale this morning and turned up some really nice old items. The pick was a large 1906 Theatre poster for " the Midnight Wedding" by " Mynell & Gunns Famous Dramatic Company." This one only cost $2.00 and I collect a few old posters, so this ones a keeper.
Ebayers turn up some amazing items at times. This thread could be a place to share your latest find.

Thank you Kopes! That's it! Mine came unboxed but in pristine condition with stickers intact for the bargain price of $2.50 that my daughter paid! A keeper for my collection.
Sorry I can't do pic insert links or whatever they're called - my hands are crippled so can't drag a mouse & etc to select pic & such. Your help with a pic is greatly appreciated!

I picked up this little (3' high) guy on my recent Sydney trip
In the listing, the seller said his name is Mario, but I don't think he looks like a "Mario"
Any suggestions on a new name would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Looks like a 'Josep' to me. Might need a lick of paint, though.

thanks dave.
He does have a little damage, looks like he's been in a scrape or two, but I don't have the time to pay him attention at the moment

I agree Kopes looks like he should have tray, so probably a waiter with the napkin over his arm.
I'm nearly certain I saw a fella like that in an old 50's casino photograph serving drinks.

Or perhaps Charlie, I could never tell the two apart.
Great find BTW. Looks like he is meant to carry a tray in both hands.
thanks kopes. I got him cheap . . . . . . and got to use a $10 eBay voucher to get him even cheaper.
I've seen this same sort of statue with a tray, but this one didn't come with a tray. Might have to make one and paint it to suit.
Until I get around to it I could have him holding things here in my house like keys, or in my shed holding something else.
