Feature Suggestion: Dark Mode for eBay Website (Not the Android/iOS app)

Dear eBay Community and Team,

I am writing to suggest the implementation of a dark mode option for the eBay Australia website (ebay.com.au).

As your mobile applications for Android and iOS already feature a great dark mode, extending this functionality to the website would provide a consistent and improved user experience across all platforms. Many users find dark mode highly beneficial for reducing eye strain, especially during extended Browse or shopping sessions, or when using devices in low-light environments. It significantly enhances user comfort and accessibility, providing a more modern and pleasant user experience.

Given the widespread adoption of dark mode across many online platforms, adding this feature to the eBay website would be a valuable enhancement and would be highly appreciated by many customers.

Could the eBay team please consider this feature for a future update? It's 2025 and the eBay.com.au website still lacks a dark mode compared to the Android/iOS app.

Other members cannot implement new features, and eBay (even if they did read the member to member forum) do not take requests/suggestions

You can set dark mode for your own computer via settings.

Didn't know that. Well, it's quite not nice of eBay not adding a dark mode for the web.

Nope, not true. I did that, still white!

Did you go into the hamburger menu (the three dots in the top right hand corner)

Select settings, then appearance and select dark in overall appearance ?

That is in the computer settings, not the actual eBay site

Sorry mate. And I did go in my computer settings to dark mode, take a look.
