Is there any way that automatic writing can be turned off when sending messages etc -

In what context is this happening? What is it that you’re writing?

Offhand I can’t think of anywhere in eBay where text runs in front of my typing.

Could it be something to do with your browser settings?

I'm not sure about the eBay issue side of things I'm afraid

I have been having an issue on many sites, that when I type, it will randomly go and type over what I have typed already

If I press the right and left click on my mouse at the same time, it stops doing it for a little while at least

But I assume that is an issue with something gone haywire in/under my keypad

I am not sure if that 'trick' will work for any of typing/text issues

I doubt it has to do with eBay because I don't have that issue (and never had), but I don't use the app, which is known to have problems, so who knows.

I would normally think it has more to do with some settings in the browser you are using.
