Personal avatars no longer showing

During the last few weeks, board members' avatars have been appearing and disappearing and reappearing. They have now gone (permanently?), to be replaced with the generic image that looks like this:

Of course, in the scheme of things, it's no huge issue. However, if it can be fixed, it would be nice to see that done. Personalised avatars help to differentiate between posters. (Someone changed the forum theme to "candy", hmmm?)

Sugar, I suspect the problem might be traveling rapidly towards the "too hard basket" unfortunately.

I would be overjoyed to be proven wrong though.......................

I note that instead of fixing the missing avatars problem, or the "pinned" threads actually linking to the threads, the forum tech department have felt it was necessary to repaint the boards in plum...

I think this was the original colour for  a short time, then they changed it to blue, and now they changed it back to the original colour? I guess the board looked too blue with all the blue avatars...

The ''repaint'' would have taken about 2 seconds with one configuration change.

I suspect that fixing the avatar and other issues is a far deeper issue with links between 2 different databases.   A good DBA would be able to fix it reasonably quickly,  but I suspect there is no priority being given to it.

And besides plum matches my eyes better
