Another LABOR failure and botched policy.......
One of an Abbott Government’s toughest jobs will be to clean up the NBN mess and stop the bleeding of our billions:
THE company building Labor’s $37.4 billion National Broadband Network could be forced to repair tens... after cutting corners in the construction processes to boost the number of homes passed by the massive infrastructure project.
The Australian can reveal that as of last week, connections to as many as 21,000 - one in eight - of the 163,500 existing homes and businesses passed by the fibre network were considered to contain defects in the network construction…
The defects mean that network connections to thousands of homes and businesses, which have been classified as “ready for service”, may require repairs before users can access the internet on the new network.
NBN Co last night disputed the figures, admitting there were significant defects but insisting the total number was lower than the [NBN internal] figures obtained by The Australian.

You are evading my question, so let me reiterate.
How will ultra fast Internet improve a household's economy?
How will having a FTTP improve the experience of the vast majority of users needs ? those needs being email, news articles, eBay, Skype audio and some video, airline bookings and so on?
You might like to explain to those who do not know just what the advantages of ultra high speed internet holds for the average person with the above needs

In 1994, 2004 the Internet was pretty much just the Internet. Banking, television, telephone calls, medical procedures etc were all done without the net but now they are all are transferring to the net so fast that in 2024 the Internet will probably play a more important role than we can realise today and Australia should be readying itself

you havent answered anything yet. i think its up to you to explain how this dog of a replacement is going to 'work' .

Para, all that you mention is being handled by the Internet already. My objection to the NBN Co. system is that they conned a government and the government in turn tried to con the taxpayers into an expensive white elephant monopoly.

He hasn't and he won't.
It's a bit funny to see "they" conned the govt.
