Whatever the correct answer is, I make a habit of doing some sort of puzzle each day for mental / mind stimulation...getting old;-)  I have heard that this sort of stimulation decreases the onset of dementia, time will tell!

you heard correctly - dementia, Alzheimer's and assisting with the restoration of neural pathways for stroke victims.

It's been proven that 10 minutes a day of simple math equations or oral reading in your own language stimulates more areas of the brain than anything else and aids in the strengthening of neural pathways.

It was a hypothesis put forward by the guy behind all the Brain Training games for Nintendo - but before that - he thought he could prove that playing computer games would use multiple areas of the brain so Sony backed his research, but the tests etc proved completely otherwise. So they tried to sue that bloke - another company took over the research - ie got all the data etc and funded medical trials etc - then somewhere after that Nintendo ran with it ie their math and word games - though not sure how that equates as they are "electronic games" - but I never followed that part of the study.

It really is very open ended, unless you are a Maths Professor:-)

Incorrect.

It is Year 7 Mathematics.

Bob, I am afraid that you and where ever you got the answer from (7) are mistaken.

I would LOVE to see how you and where ever you got the answer from arrived at the answer being 7

I presume you're being sarcastic right?

Re: 6-1x0+2÷2 = ?

6 - (1x0) + (2/2) = ?

1x0=0

2/2=1

6-0=6

 6+1=7

the brackets are implied because in this type of equation multiplication and division are always done before addition or subtraction - as buzz said, year 7 maths.
